Agile Project Management (Scrum & Kanban)

Are your directors and project managers facing core operational bottlenecks?

Nếu doanh nghiệp đang mắc kẹt ở một trong những điểm dưới đây, đã đến lúc thay đổi cách tư duy.

The stagnation spiral of the Waterfall model

A rigid sequential process leaves projects inflexible, catches critical bugs late in final testing and loses adaptability when customer requirements change.

Constantly over budget & past deadline

Initial requirements are underestimated or vague, leading to wrong time estimates; the team scrambles for a "Big-bang Launch" near the deadline, risking quality drops.

Hidden system bottlenecks

Work jams at a few key people due to overloaded work-in-progress (WIP), but managers lack a visual tool to spot and fix it in time.

A passive team lacking cross-department cohesion

Members chase individual or siloed KPIs, pass the buck and keep waiting for orders instead of solving work independently.

Short iterative cycles that raise perceived value — rolling execution based on visual data

Solution overview

Short iterative cycles that raise perceived value — rolling execution based on visual data

High project-delivery performance doesn't come from a fixed long-term plan on paper. The program sets up a fully hands-on, real-world simulation: the business brings its stuck projects into the training room to restructure the process. Managers are handed the full Agile Framework arsenal (Scrum & Kanban) to break down the Product Backlog, limit WIP and slice the workflow into day-sized units, ensuring a usable Increment after every cycle.

Highlights

Visualize the flow & eliminate hold-ups with Kanban

Master the JIT-standard Signboard system to grid the entire To Do – In Process – Done flow. Understand Little's Law (TP = WIP/CT) to set an accurate WIP Limit, release delays and optimize the whole team's output.

Standardize the 3 vital roles in the Scrum Team

Clarify core responsibilities: the Product Owner owns the "What" (strategic vision, managing a valuable Product Backlog), the Scrum Master owns the "How" (effectively facilitating events), and Developers own the "Result" (a fully cross-functional, self-managing team).

Build an Inspect & Adapt culture

Sync the 4 core ceremonies (Sprint Planning, 15-minute Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective) to shed negative emotional baggage, end the "office Zombie" phenomenon and activate a continuous-learning Growth Mindset in the team.

Who it's for

Boards, Project Directors & PMOultimately responsible for the cross-department strategic project portfolio, needing a shared management language.

Heads of Operations, R&D, Tech, Product, Marketingneeding to restructure team collaboration and shift from "Doer" to "Multiplier" to manage a lean workflow.

Current Scrum Masters & Product Ownerswanting to upgrade facilitation, refine testing templates and standardize skills to lock down complex project goals.

Program framework

A 4-session hands-on journey

  1. 1

Session 1 — Agile thinking & creating the Project Charter

    • Decode the Agile Manifesto (4 values & 12 principles) against Waterfall's weaknesses.
    • Practice setting up the Project Charter: lock the scope (Say YES/NO), analyze 3 risk groups (Internal, External, Technology) and sign off SMART information.
  2. 2

Session 2 — Setting up the Kanban flow & Little's Law

    • Map the operating cycle onto a Kanban Board (physical or Jira/Trello).
    • Train the technique of setting an optimal WIP Limit to manage flow, remove waste and apply Little's Law to increase system throughput.
  3. 3

Session 3 — Running the Scrum Framework & Backlog techniques

    • Define the 3 roles PO – SM – Dev.
    • Practice slicing the Product Backlog into structured User Stories (Who – What – Why) with Acceptance Criteria.
    • Set up the Sprint Backlog and break work into subtasks completable in under a day.
  4. 4

    Session 4 — Inspect & Adapt ceremonies

    • Simulate a Sprint cycle (1–4 weeks): a 15-minute Daily Scrum reviewing 3 questions
    • A Sprint Review demoing the Increment to gather customer feedback
    • And a Sprint Retrospective using the Hot-air Balloon/Speed Car format to celebrate small wins and improve the process.

Goals & expected outcomes

Strategy & deliverables

  • 01 standard Project Charter: clearly positioning the context, committed goals and a staffing matrix for a real team structure (under 10 people).
  • 01 complete Scrum/Kanban Board with a Product Backlog sliced into User Stories with visual acceptance criteria.
  • 01 Sprint Backlog action plan with detailed subtasks, a goal-dramatization script and a competitive Dashboard tracking the Burn-down Chart.

Capabilities

  • Project managers become fluent at facilitating Agile events and adopt a coaching mindset to end hand-holding and effectively transfer self-management responsibility to Developers.
  • Build an open culture that dares to experiment, values self-discipline and honors commitments, helping the whole cross-department system reach full consensus and commit to breakthrough delivery.
